Pat Mackie is a leading practitioner of Sogetsu Ikebana in Brisbane, Australia and has been studying ikebana for more than 20 years. She has been teaching classes at her studio in Jindalee since 2001. See the classes page for details of class timings.
Pat is a highly regarded teacher of Sogetsu Ikebana in Australia and participates regularly in workshops throughout Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
She has undertaken many courses at the Sogetsu headquarters in Tokyo in order both to study more intensively and to ensure that she remains at the cutting edge of trends developing in Japan.
She currently holds the highest teaching certificate of First Grade RIJI ( 2018)
Pat received the Overseas Akane Teshigahara Award (April 2017)
